Jamar Chaney on roster bubble

Linebacker Jamar Chaney has been a Eagle for a couple years now with a good amount of playing time starting for the past couple seasons, but as of late he is falling off the grid and really has a serious chance at getting cut. For the past two preseason games Chaney has struggled incredibly, missing tackles, getting beat in coverage, and just not knowing his assignments. With young backers like Jake Knott and Emmanuel Acho emerging, Chaney better step up in games 3 and 4 of the preseason or Chip Kelly and Billy Davis will not hesitate to cut him. I have been a fan of Chaney since he won the MLB job in 2011 but with only 4 or 5 inside linebackers being kept, there isn't much room. I predicted in my depth chart predictions that he will make it but with Ryans, Kendricks, Acho, Matthews on the team, there is room for one more. I really like the new way in Philadelphia under Chip Kelly, either play well or your out.
