Eagles release 10 players, cut roster to 78

The Eagles have made some cuts today, here are the players that were released.

1. TE Derek Carrier- Only had 1 reception in preseason, was behind loaded position.

2. WR Nick Miller- Was pretty good against the Patriots but stuggled with routes during camp, loaded position with some young talent couldn't spread apart from other players.

3. DT Eddie McClam

4. T Nic Purcell

5. DL/OL Issac Remington

6. TE Will Shaw- Tight end is crazy deep

7. DL Daryell Walker

8. LS James Winchester- Jon Dorenbos is back....

9. P Brad Wing- Donnie Jones has one the punting job

10. CB Eddie Whitley (Waived/Injury)- I personally liked Whitley, physical, versatile corner who played well but with Brandon Hughes, Poyer, and Marsh, not enough room on the roster.
